Summer 2024
I spent a month with two fantastic artists in Winchester, VA in the beautiful, historic home of Peter Bullough, champion of the arts. The residency was both restorative and productive–I walked around a lot, making new photographs of the asphalt world of Winchester, working on a few book projects, drawing, and lots of reading and writing. I made some strides with my scrap wood world both painting at PBF and using time with the wood shop tools generously offered by Valley Makers Association, a volunteer-run local maker space.
