Summer 2024
I loved my time at Hambidge. I was in Brena studio, a simple brick-shaped building: one half a spacious studio with multiple work tables, big white Homasote walls for pinning things, a slop sink, and a baby grand piano, and the other half the living quarters.
Between walks, I drew, sang, composed music, wrote, read and experimented with a spellbook and a few wall activations. I dug some clay out of the side of the bank and made a few large drawings with it combined with Sumi ink and crayon.
